What inspired our clients to work with us?
For some it’s the way our creativity brings to life their products and services. For others it’s that we treat the audience with intelligence and respect…
…for all, though, it’s the way we make our extensive experience of offline consumers count online.
ParkShare is a unique website that aims to solve the problems trying to find a parking space at home, or near the office. Many people have to pay to park their vehicle whilst they're at work. Conversely a lot of people who live in urban areas, or near popular destinations, have vacant driveways during the day. The solution is a rather simple one.
ParkShare is the first parking website that not only allows people to rent and purchase parking places, but also allows them to 'swap' a parking space for services rendered, like mowing the lawn or washing the car, by using its 'community' feature.
The site uses the Google and PayPal APIs and is both multi-lingual and multi-currency. Social media, like Twitter and Facebook, are built right into the core of the application, and there is also a dedicated iPhone and iPad app, and the Android version is currently in development.
In order to get a good design, you must first get the foundations right. This approach is the same whether it's a web site, or a building site! Fortunately you can rely upon a professional architects practice to understand this.
Their new site was built using SouthCMS so that they have full control over each section, including the meta-data for SEO purposes, as well as the ability to create, edit and delete, new pages and sections. They can also create new users with different access privileges, so the burden of keeping the site up to date isn't always on one person.
Porcelanosa.co.uk, was redeveloped to focus specifically on their product range. Since then we’ve continued to build new features and dynamic database-driven functionality throughout the site. In addition to a comprehensive catalogue of over 2000 products, there's a careers section and a sophisticated bespoke postcode CMS for handling brochure requests.
The effect on the business from this new version of the site was dramatic. Within two months online visitor traffic had almost quadrupled to 50k unique page views per month, and Showroom Managers nationwide were reporting an increase in footfall from customers who found them online.
The Sony idTV microsite is designed to showcase the advantages of having an Integrated Digital TV. Using Flash to deliver the animations, we divided the DVD presentation into five smaller, sections and therefore began serving the content almost instantly to most users.
Waterfalls Estate Agents offer excellent customer service but unfortunately their website was letting their customers down with confusing navigation and a search engine that made finding the houses all too tricky.
We designed a new look for the site, created clearer, more intuitive navigation and placed the home search on every page. The site now features larger images, slideshows, maps, floor plans and Waterfalls TV. It works too. Over 80% of visitors choose to search for a home on the site.
The site has won awards, appears at the top of Google and has 5000 visitors a month.

Ok, so we admit it. One of our clients is an estate agent.
But honestly, they're not all bad. Waterfalls don't have silly sticker-covered minis and they don't wear shiny suits.
Through all the recent market turbulence they've embraced the value that good design and marketing brings. While their competitors have battened down the hatches and slowly disappeared from view, Waterfalls have continued to actively promote their business in face of market adversity and have deservedly emerged as the victors. Never thought you'd read a feel good estate agency story did you?
