There are some projects we really get excited about. This was one of them. We were asked to support Worldspan Motivation in creating the branding and concepts for a Shell 'Passionate Experts' website.
The site was aimed at providing Shell's franchise staff across the UK with highly interactive online learning and support for Shell's coaches, supporting their drive to ensure that each member of staff becomes a 'passionate expert' on all things fuel related.
Working with our friends at Worldspan Motivation against tight time frames and even tighter budgets we were set the task of branding and building the website as the hub for Eaton's Power Advantage incentive programme.
We created the 'Power Advantage Champions League' website, pitting Eaton's distributors and resellers from all across EMEA in competition with one another to become the Power Advantage Champion.
The website, built in 7 languages, handled the secure registration process, provided each company with online statements showing their latest score updates; we designed two highly addictive online games to keep them coming back and ultimately, revealed the winners' podium to celebrate the champions who would be winging their way to the Champions' League final.
Worldspan Motivation chose us to create the branding and websites for an incentive programme for their client, Computer Associates. We created the 'R15 Grand Prix' website where their distributors and resellers from 47 countries, in 5 languages, were able to register and compete in their own leagues with their R15 sales converted into championship points, updated each month.
They could check online statements to see their championship position, compete for the fastest lap in the online racing game as well as visit the knowledge base videos for tips on improving their R15 sales.
The incentive was attributed with creating $millions in additional revenue each month and acknowledged as the most successful web based incentive they have ever run.
The Waiter's Friend Company needed a small, yet functional wewbsite designed and built so that their employees could manage the entire site on a day-to-day basis. We built this site using SouthCMS and included the Products Module to make the whole process simple.
The Products Module (built using jQuery) allows them to select multiple images for any item, and it can also embed video files too, giving the customer as much information as possible. And of course, the site is built to be highly SEO friendly with the facility for Global, or Individual, meta tag data.

We took one of the typical stereotypes and presented it back to the market in a number of guises from the usual to a more human and approachable way.

The Internal Staff Incentive Programme was launched, and ran for two years, across four different themes from Sporting events, to music genres. Each had its own unique design, but they were all built around a secure interactive quiz with teams competing against the clock – as well as each other! And when it comes to inter-office bragging rights, you'd be hard-pushed to find a better motivator!
