• Guy has over ten years experience in design and has worked across fields from traditionally produced newspapers to organisational change and branding.

    • Guy studied Technical Illustration at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art and Design before attending a Graphic Design and Advertising degree at Brunel. He has worked on projects often at board level with some very prestigious clients including The AA, British Gas, Centrica, National Grid, Volkwagen, Sainsbury's and Biffa. This experience is applied to all of South's clients large or small.

"Communication within business often has a bias towards the paying customer rather than the employee. However with increasing pressure and bombardment of information it is often no longer enough to expect employees to read what they are sent; they must also be enticed. The key to good communication internal or external is to get the message across in a way that the consumer enjoys absorbing it, engaging in a dialogue WITH them not talking AT them..."

    • "Guy was the creative force behind our rebranding exercise. He showed good insight into our business and produced some fresh and inspiring ideas. He strikes a good balance between respecting the client's ideas and defending his concepts. We have been delighted with the market's response to our identity and it has reinforced our place in the market."

Along the way he has specified a number of studios, created and implemented IT strategies and passed on inspiration and a great foundation to many new promising talents.

A highly visual person, one of Guy's biggest strengths is being able to put a design brief into a business context. Time spent in the world of internal communications and business consultancy has put Guy in a position to see real world design solutions and branding working positively on the bottom line of the business.

"The guys at South° are smart, creative and provide great value for money. They always deliver something fresh and original - which is why we keep on using them."
